The National Research Council of the Philippines (DOST-NRCP) is all set with its hosting of the 17th Conference of the Science Council of Asia (SCA) from 14 to 16 June 2017 at the Philippine International Convention Center. NRCP Governing Board Corporate Secretary, Dr. Maria Natalia R. Dimaano (R), together with Executive Director Dr. Marieta Bañez-Sumagaysay, announced fortnight’s conference before the Monday flag ceremony of the Department of Science Technology on 5 June 2017 at the DOST Grounds, Bicutan, Taguig City. The conference to date has around 400 registered participants coming from the Philippines and SCA-member Asian countries. Supported by DOST and the sectoral councils PCIEERD, PCHRD, and PCAARRD, the conference affirms the role of science, technology and innovation in the attainment of inclusive development for Asia.
